Grammy winning songwriter/producer, RedOne, has become one of the most successful and sought after record producers and songwriters in the world. He recently received two more GRAMMY nominations for Producer of the Year for his work on Lady Gaga’s tracks “Alejandro,” and “Bad Romance,” which garnered three additional nominations for Lady Gaga; as well as “I Like It,” by Enrique Iglesias featuring Pitbull, “More,” by Usher, Artist for Haiti’s “We Are the World 25 For Haiti,” and “Whole Lotta Love,” by Mary J. Blige and Album of the Year for his work on Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster.

“I feel like I already won just being nominated!” said RedOne about the most recent nominations. “It’s such an incredible honor to be recognized by my peers in this way. This motivates me even more to keep finding new ways to express myself musically, working with some of the most talented and inspiring artists in the world. It’s a dream come true!”

These five nominations top what has already been a very successful year for RedOne who won a GRAMMY in February for “Poker Face” with Lady Gaga off of her The Fame Album, for which RedOne produced and co-wrote 7 songs including 5 back to back hit singles. Just off the high of winning a Grammy in February, Lady Gaga's single, “Bad Romance” also produced and co-written by RedOne, rose to the #1 spot on Billboard's Digital chart. He was also personally selected by Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones to produce an updated version of the iconic philanthropic song "We Are The World: 25 for Haiti" which was made legendary by the late Michael Jackson. This song roared to #1 on iTunes and led to RedOne's achievement of having 5 #1 songs in less than one year, 9 #1 songs in 2009 and 2010. Additionally, he was named BMI’s Songwriter of the Year and has announced a joint venture with Universal Music for his own label, 2101 Records. And it doesn’t stop there! He has also been writing and producing with such artists as Quincy Jones, U2, Lady Gaga, Enrique Iglesias, Usher, Nicole Scherzinger (#1 in UK), Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Mylene Farmer (#1 in France), Alexandra Burke (recently #1 in the UK) and new artists to his 2101 label Mohombi (#1 in Europe) and Porcelain, among many others.

Currently, RedOne has a #1 single in the U.K. with Nicole Scherzinger’s “Poison.” He is also working with Lady Gaga on her follow-up album to the phenomenal 15 million in album sales and 51 million in single downloads from the The Fame releases, as well as producing and writing for Mohombi and Porcelain for his own imprint, 2101 Records.

His success has not happened overnight, but his unique sound is making lasting marks in the world of music and has moved the dial on American radio and radio stations worldwide.

Born and raised in Morocco, RedOne relocated to Sweden in his late teens in his pursuit of a successful career in music. Inspired by the energy in Stockholm, so different from his native North Africa, a penniless RedOne took odd jobs and slept on a recording studio floor just to stay close to realizing his dream of becoming a top songwriter and music producer. After a short stint as lead singer and guitarist in a rock band, RedOne began to refine his producing and songwriting skills and scored a publishing deal. His unique original sound is derived from a hybrid of influences including the rhythms of his native Morocco, the eclectic musical tastes of his elder siblings and the Swedish-Europop that inspired him in his early musical travels. His career jumped off with successful stints writing and producing tracks by Nordic artists such as the wildly popular A*Teens. In 2004, RedOne hit it big with the European smash "Step Up," winning both a Swedish Grammy award and the Scandinavian Song of the Year award with frequent co-writer Bilal Hajji. In 2006, RedOne's hit single "Bamboo" was named "Official Melody" for the World Cup and that March he produced a mash-up of Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" featuring Wyclef Jean and RedOne/Bilal's "Bamboo.” The resulting mix was performed by Shakira and Wyclef at the Cup's Final in Berlin to more than 1.2 billion viewers worldwide. The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) was so impressed with RedOne's talent that he was made the main producer and songwriter for the 2006 World Cup Official Music Program.

After moving to America, RedOne collaborated with Michael Jackson, Akon, Kat Deluna and New Kids On The Block. The NKTOB album entitled "The Block," features seven tracks written and produced by RedOne. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 charts and features RedOne's "Summertime," the group’s first new hit in 15 years. His most recent chain of hit singles began in 2008 with "Just Dance" which was ranked #1 in Billboard, was nominated for a Grammy in 2009, won a Grammy in 2010 and was the lead single launching Lady Gaga's amazing career.

Then, 2009 was truly just the start of even more great things to come for RedOne. The year started on a high with his first GRAMMY nomination for producing "Just Dance" as Best Dance Recording. The single sold nearly 5 million copies in the US alone. RedOne was buoyed by the success of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” which eclipsed the success of its predecessor "Just Dance" by rising to #1 on the world wide music chart even faster. The single hit #1 in 17 countries including all of Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the US. "Poker Face" enjoys the distinction of being the most downloaded single in UK history; and was followed up with “Love Game,” which reaped similar worldwide chart dominance, topping the Top 40 Radio Charts in the US and setting the record for Lady Gaga as the first female artist in history to have her first three singles hit #1 at radio. Simultaneously, “Fire Burning,” a single RedOne produced and co-wrote for Sean Kingston, rose to Top 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, sold over 1 million copies in the US and gave RedOne three singles in the top 10 at once including "Love Game" and "Poker Face." In the fall of 2009, RedOne enjoyed the successful return of The Backstreet Boys as their new album This Is Us, for which he produced several tracks, debuted at #9 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart, received critical acclaim in the US along and debuted at top 10 spots all over the world. In late November, Gaga’s newly re-packaged version of The Fame entitled Fame Monster delivered 4 more songs produced and co-written by RedOne including the explosive hit single singles "Bad Romance" and "Alejandro.\

” With radio jumping all over his recent new single releases--Scherzinger’s “Poison” in the UK, Enrique Iglesias' "I Like It” featuring Pitbull, Mohombi’s “Bumpy Ride” featuring Pitbull and more--RedOne seems to be on top of the world. So what's next?

"I don't want to say because you always want to shock people," he explained. "And you don't want to let people know, so that when they hear it, [they say], 'Oh my God.' "
